it has been a few days when an auction at ebay in Germany end. It was about two images of WWI showing narrow gauge railways somewhere near the front. The second images shows two waggons full of soldiers pulled by a so called Brigadelokomotive. The first one was more interresting. A lot of different steam enginges smoking and in the background a shed seems to be constructed of wood. In between all locos a view at one probably a Mallet from the Harz. In a small german forum there was a discussion about it where at the end it was suggesting the image was taken at Montmedy. I guess showing the images here will be also of interest for you. Unfourtunally this auction was won by someone unknow.
Here is the link to the auction and the images given there itself: http://www.ebay.de/itm/380719706213

Writing changed a lot in Germany about the last decades so it is difficult to read nowadays. Maybe the first backside states Montmedy and the second train with injured ("Verwundeten Zug").
