[VN] Modelleisehnbahn Layout - Arad

As some of you may know, Modelleisehnbahn gmbh(also known as Roco and Fleischmann), have a production line in Romania, in Arad. They contacted us to build them a layout to put at the entrance to the factory, next to the administrative offices. The layout has 4/1.7m. It is not finished, sadly, due to some complications, i won't go into details, i only want to present the layout here. It has double oval, a depot complete with turntable, 2 train stations, a cog railway and a shunting yard. The plan was based on one from a Flm plan book. ÂThe tracks are Flm Profigleis and all the signals, decouplers, etc are from Flm. The control was supposed to be completely digital, via PC, but the parts(roco) where delayed so long that that part never begun...Construction started 2 years ago in september, and had to be finished din 2 weeks...yeas you read correctly...2 weeks. This is the stage at which it got...and where it remained...sadly

The layout was made for a group of journalists from some magaine(i didnt remeber the name), so when they arrived there i was present to run a few trains on the layout using a flm twin center controler. Some photos from the event..
After the journalist came, they started arranging their equipment and making some photos with the management team...

Your first intervention on our forum let us hope for a presentation of a metric network called "the green arrow". It would be preferable in the opening of these two posts. Please, feel free to open a new thread about this metric network.
