Meilleurs voeux,
Paul

Some more progress has been made. I have completed the painting of the roof in primer paint.
I have added thin strips to represent the beading on the roof. This is made from electricians tape. A section was placed on a piece of plate glass. A straight line was cut close to the edge with the craft knife. Then another line cut about 1mm from the edge. The tape was stuck to the roof (and repositioned if necessary) and then cut to length with the scalpel blade. This seems to have worked with the first roof - I'm waiting for it all to fall apart though!
The next step is final paint of primer and then two coats of top coat (Humbrol no 28, Camouflage Grey in my case).
Best wishes,
Paul
